On October 30, the fourth grade culminated their study of Africa by celebrating in a big way! Their day began with dancing and continued with the making of African masks, African math, Griot story telling, a presentation by the 12th graders who had recently traveled to Rwanda on their Junior Journey, and ended with speakers from the African Art Museum. On top of all of this, the girls enjoyed a delicious West African meal for lunch!
